Had a conversation with my dad the other day. He told me he understand it’s not easy being in the creative industry. You crack your brains working on some ideas that you think may be awesome… but ultimately the journey to fruition doesn’t solely depend on you. You have to pass through the stage of other people’s opinion and critique. Well the thing is, people are subjective so critique has its pros and cons.
So yea, I was wondering… why must we create to someone’s liking? Or when we present, just because some lects don’t like the style, so we have to alter it to something they like? Then aren’t we just some copy machine? hahaha yah lah, we’re not doing art, this is design. hmm, just don’t agree with some conservative teaching methods.
